The Terrorist in Our Midst

I guess I don't really mean terrorist, but it made the title more catchy than the CHINESE SPY/MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE/MENTALLY UNSTABLE PERSON in our midst. Now I am going to let you in on a conspiracy theory so real it has to be true. It also wasn't spouted by Abram further increasing its legitimacy.

John McCain is shown hugging one of his North Vietnamese Captors. Is it merely coincidence, unlikely.
John McCain spent 5 years as North Vietnamese prisoner. When offered a chance for early release he refused it. Why, probably because McTraitor had already been brain washed. I am sure his two years in solitary confinement didn't help his ability to love capitalism either. Can we really trust John McCain? Of course not, if McTraitor has his way the United States will become the slave of Red China and Vietnam. Even if he doesn't kill our children and sell us out to a bunch of communists is it a chance we should be willing to take?

Party of Change, My Ass

Even though I consider myself to be a Democrat, I have been highly disappointed with my party this fall. Yes we have two superstar candidates and yes the Republicans have practically given the White House away, but as usual the Democrats seem to be finding a way to lose. Whether you listen to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards or even Mike Gravel (he was waiting for the crucial Alaskan primary to catapult himself to the forefront) they all talk about change. Change this, change that, change, change, change, change, change. Well the time for change is right now because if the Dems don't they will probably lose again.

Neither ass is very good with change. The one on the right struggles due to its inability to do math and its lack of fingers. The one on the left is simply inept.

My goodness the economy is in the shitter, Iraq is well still Iraq, scandals, low approval ratings, and all kinds of other bullshit and John McCain still looks like a formidable opponent. This is where the Democrats could learn something from the Republicans, try picking a (winning) candidate. Any candidate it helps when they bad-mouthing comes from the opponent across the political spectrum instead of your fellow party member.

The inability of the Democrats to pick a candidate and win an easy election astounds me. First they delay the process so long that it seems any candidate will finish with any momentum, instead whoever manages to get the nomination will likely be so exhausted that general election will seem like a reprieve. Remember those kids in high school who wanted to be in student government and were the most qualified, but they were unelectable losers and nerds. Today they run the Democratic Party. The Dems are for anything, but change because the way things are looking we should brace ourselves for President John McCain.
